hmmm… san kaya yun nanggaling?

 pati lamok naisulat ko tuloy sa kagustuhan kong masimulan ang pagsusulat. well, sabi sakin pwede isulat kahit ano, in whatever language, no matter what tone i use over here. ako lang naman magbabasa, pwede rin ang papa ko hehehe…

may pasok na naman sa monday, instead of writing my lesson plan i’m here in front of the computer writing anything that comes to mind since i am not in the mood to be writing any lesson plan at all. well, when did i ever? haaayyy buhay!

but at least i am not depressed anymore. nakita ko ang aking pangalawang asawa, si jason bourne, pati na rin ang ex ko, si jackie chan. o diba? pasukin daw ang sinehan at manood ng dalawang sine sa iisang ticket lang. kahusay ah! pagdating ng asawa ko tatlo ang panonoorin namin hahaha!!!

 o diba? walang sense talaga tong pinagsusulat ko na to. ano kaya ang kinalaman ng lamok sa kabuuan nitong maisusulat ko? pagkatapos kaya ng pagusulat ko e maibalik ko pa sa lamok to? hmmm… nevermind, patay na ang lamok!

medyo inaantok nako pero parang hindi pa… m thinking about monday. i have to go back to school. i have to meet the kids i will be teaching this year. try to gauge each other on who will be in control of the classroom, me or them. one can never be sure of these kids. yes, they are kids, some of them trapped in a man’s or woman’s body. kalalaki na parang mga dalaga at binata na, yet deep within, still kids trying to decide if they should act their age or they should act their looks.

i am hoping for the best this year. i intend to do some of the things i have not done last year since i was not so sure yet on how to do things over here. i am so used to xs. so organized, people knowing what they should do and when to do it and how to do it. people who know exactly what is expected of them. although there was too much work there, the support was always there. e dito, pag dika nagtanong, mag-isa ka. mabulok ka dyan, wala kang alam, wala din akong pakialam.

concern ko nga lang ngayon e ang aking mga coteachers. tatlo kaming teacher ng science 7th grade. kung may gagawin ako na kung ano pa man para sa lesson dapat meron din sila. pag may binago ako or may ginawa or gagawin pa lang, sasabihin “why are you doing this? you are making us look bad? why punish yourself with all of these? you are making it so hard on yourself girl, and on us too!” haaayyy… kesa naman gawin ko na naman yung mga ginagawa nila last year.

 dito sa america, dito ko lang natutunan na ang unang-unang isipin dapat at priority ng isang teacher e DISCIPLINE. bahala na lesson sa sarili nya. make them work, make sure they are engaged, that they have something to do, to make sure that they would not have a lull moment to think of something crazy. pagpasok pa lang kailangan meron ng mga DO NOW activity.

speaking of the DO NOW, i should be doing something now, that is the lesson plan, and the worksheets. not to mention the powerpoint presentations, na kokopyahin na naman. kaya nga daw ako andito e, i am here to be an ambassador of my country, to learn things from here and go back to my country and transfer the technology. NAMAN! mas high-tech pa xs kesa dito. ako pa nagturo ng powerpoint sa kanila. ako nagturo ng excel. ang copy/paste dito literal na copy-gupit-dikit-copy ulit. well, at least may natutunan na sila sakin. or may natutunan nga ba? e hinihingi lang naman mga gawa ko. sabay tanong ng “where did you get all those images?”. duh! AW INDA!
